ISF has been cancelled for 2025- 2026.

The International Street Fiesta has been cancelled due to weather.

Official Notice: Cancellation of the 2025–2026 International Street Fiesta and Luminous Lantern Parade

The International Street Fiesta Committee regrets to advise that, following a unanimous decision made today, the 2025–2026 International Street Fiesta and the Luminous Lantern Parade have been cancelled.

This was an incredibly difficult decision and not one made lightly. However, the forecasted weather conditions for the event period present significant concerns. As organisers, our highest priority is the safety and wellbeing of our community, participants, volunteers, and staff. After careful consideration, we determined that proceeding with the events would pose unacceptable risks.

We understand that this news will be particularly disappointing for stallholders and community groups who rely on the Fiesta as an important opportunity to showcase their culture, products, and services. The Fiesta is a valued moment of cultural connection, celebration, and community spirit, and we share in the disappointment felt by our partners, performers, stallholders, volunteers, and attendees.

The committee extends its sincere appreciation for the ongoing support and understanding of the community. We will continue to explore future opportunities to bring vibrant, inclusive cultural events to our region, and we look forward to sharing updates when available.

History & Purpose

The International Street Fiesta (ISF) debuted on October 22, 2022, replacing the Toowoomba Languages & Cultures (TLC) Festival. The annual event, themed "One World Many Faces," celebrates diverse cultures through food, music, and arts. It brings together over 100 community groups to promote understanding, cultural exchange, and community harmony in a fun environment.
